Large head of Amenhotep III made of granite

This huge granite Amenhotep III head is 115 cm high and weighs around 350 kilos. Amenhotep III (c. 1386-1353 BCE) was the ninth king of the 18th Dynasty of Egypt. He ruled Egypt for around forty years and his rule is generally considered to have been a golden age.
