Large granite head of Amenhotep III

A very large Egyptian granite head of king Amenhotep III. An exceptional hand-carved statue, King Amenhotep III wears the white crown with the uraeus over his forehead and part of the false beard. A horizontal band set low across the forehead indicates the edges of the crown, extending behind the ears to the back of the head.
